This is the dreaded frog. I am trying to knit this but have yet to find the right stitch to make the round parts of him.
You mentioned in your Spring Bag questions that you are learning to crochet. You may have more luck crocheting the frog since it is much easier to make rounded shapes in crochet.
If you are new to crochet I would recommend a couple of great books. Instant Expert Crochet by Kay Bevan (inexpensive and great photo instructions) and The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller.
i'm a mom, addicted to knitting, and love music. I recently had brain surgery for chiari malformation. I am still kinda bald in the back of my head but am recovering very nicely. I am writing a book about my divorce and am almost done with it. If i could only figure out how to end the darn thing. Hummm, i'll have to find a thinking chair.
